My name is Coco and I'm a 6 year old Chiweenie mix. I lived with the same family for six years but because of unanticipated events, and with tears in their eyes, they relinquished me to Wagging Tails. I was confused about this new situation and surroundings for several days, but I'm settled in nicely now. I can be a bit shy at first when I meet new people, but with soft words and treats I warm up quickly. I would be happiest in a quiet home where I'm loved and can learn to trust. I would like a home that can be patient, calm, and gentle. Once I learn to trust I love to follow my human around, give lots of snuggles, and curl up on their lap. When I feel comfortable and safe my true personality comes out and I become a "Little Princess". Then I'll be talking, singing and communicating that I want to be your number one girl!
