Chewy is a small Maltese at 11 years young. His family is currently moving out of state and is unable to take him.  He's a lap dog for sure.  As soon as I sat down he was jumping onto my lap making himself at home.  Chewy did get a little mouthy with any dog that approached me while he was in my lap.  I think being an only dog would suite him fine. This boy will do well with an older person.
