Kit Kat is a wonderfully sweet shy little rat terrier of around 1.5 yrs old.  She was found as a stray in Calixico and had 4 puppies but she was very sickly.  She has been restored to great healt and its time for her to find a home of her own.

Kit Kat is a very shy girl who takes a little bit of time to warm up, and when she does, she sticks right by her persons side.  She does very well with other pups and will need to be in a home with another stronger dog who can be the leader for her.  She does just fine with Cats, Men, kid and in general wants to be part of the pack.

Kit Kat spend 2 weeks with a foster and the foster has these things to say about her.

Kit Kat Pretends to be a picky eater but she actually loves to eat whatever served, especially if there’s competition surrounding her. She is timid, unsure of new surroundings but quickly began to act like a joyful dog after a few days with good company. I’ve never seen aggressive behavior and no tendency to bite or growl but although she is a quiet dog and not much of a barker, she will bark and try to hide from fast moving children. Kit Kat absolutely prefers to be inside the house, doesn’t want to be left alone outside. Has taken a few leisurely walks using a halter - this is new for Kit Kat, but she’s getting the idea that it’s fun. Once confidence is gained she enjoys playing with a dog her own size. she is a little cautious of bigger dogs but isnt fearful. Will sleep in a doggy bed on the floor near the humans but will crawl up on the human bed if given a chance. Likes to snuggle and have her belly rubbed. Kit Kat likes to sit with my husband on his big chair while he watches TV at night. She also likes to sit on a soft pillow on top of the sofa and check out what’s going on around the house and snooze. Potty time: she likes to have a human or another dog close by while she takes care of business. Does not like to go out in the dark by herself.  Kit Kat did great with a real cat, she was a little afraid of cat but will Have fun chasing it unless the cat stands it’s ground, acts bored or gives Kit Kat “the look.”
