5/27/20 Dylan went to OB dog beach today. He was excellent on a leash, and calm with the other dogs. He was very happy jumping, running, rolling and playing in the water. He was relaxed and easy to give a bath to when we got home. I soaped him up and massaged him no problem and I was able to clean his eyes. He definitely shows signs of progress, hopefully soon he will be comfortable enough to let us groom him properly.

We want to be very transparent about some of Dylan's "unique traits". He's a lovely dog but currently does not enjoy being touched, he will need a lot of time, patience and behavioral modification training from an adopter if he is ever to become a couch buddy. Dylan actually craves attention, he will come up to you and engage, nuzzling your clothes but is not yet confident to be touched in the same interaction, this also extends to grooming, however he is in no way aggressive, just very shy. There may be many reasons he's this way but it will take time to identify his triggers for this behavior.  Dylan's going to need a gentle soft loving and most importantly patient touch to come around. We need an experienced owner that will take their time to train him and give him the space he needs to become the dog he was meant to be. Dylan is an energetic boy that takes his time to warm up. He's good with people when he's given his space. He learned quickly to jump in a crate to get his meals. Dylan is an independent soulful sort of guy that will become your BFF and snuggle partner when he ready. His hair covers his eyes but when he gets his "man bun", wow what a handsome boy with beautiful eyes. Dylan is 3.5 yrs old, neutered, vaccinated and ready for a home that has time to train him.
