Shane is with us because his owner passed away. It took Shane a while to warm up to us as he was traumatized upon arrival. Now he enjoys being massaged and shows gratitude by wagging his tail. He’s not a big snuggle guy because of his medium length hair so he will need grooming. He has bonded with a chihuahua in the home so he capable of making dog friends. In fact, he does whatever his little chi pal does. It’s very cute. Shane is a tad overweight so we’re careful not to over feed him. He weighs in at a whopping 19 pounds. Shane would look and feel better at a reasonable weight of 12 to 15 pounds. He likes walks and is a walking pro at fiesta island (our local dog park). He even gets his paws wet in the bay. This summer I expect a full submerge. This little man has come a long way and seeks a person understands him and will allow him the time he needs to accumulate to a new environment. Shane will make a good walking partner and add loving waggs and warmth to your home.
