Hey there! I’m Koontz, AKA the Gentle Giant. I’m a 3 ½ year-old Shar Pei/ (90%) Labrador (10%) Mix, weighing in at a cool 50 pounds. I might be big, but boy do I love giving kisses by gently nibbling on your fingers. I’m a dogs dog, meaning they like me and I like them. I especially have a soft spot for puppers as I love to suck on their ears, which for some reason they love. Unfortunately, my first family didn’t have time to train or teach me and they had to move due to a military relocation, so I have a few habits we can work on together with training, like leash pulling. But, I know my sits, stays and waits! For my furever family I’m really looking for an active pack, one that will take me on walks, runs, beach excursions and the dog park as one of my favorite things to do is run free off lease. My other hobbies include enjoying car rides and sleeping next to my foster mom’s bed so I can watch over her in case she needs me. I’m ready to steal your heart, are you ready?!
