Hi Folks, We have a beautiful hypoallergenic little Multi-poo boy named Kona. Don't let looks, fluffy hair and a wagging tail fool you as Kona has own mind. We have taken  Kona into our rescue for retraining and rehoming. Kona is a barker when left for long hours alone. He becomes so attached to his human he begins resource guarding and protecting her. Then Kona would lash out at dogs and people around him.  Upon arrival at our rescue Kona didn't know how to play with dogs. Within a few weeks of training Kona is playing, barking is at a minimum and we don't allow any resource guarding behaviors. We do believe his behaviors will return if placed in the wrong home so we are looking for just the right family for him.  Well, as you can see by Kona's picture he's an adorable dog. We are looking for a home with another dog for Kona to have as a forever companion. We are going to be interviewing the dog(s) in the home as well as the family to make sure Kona a fit for their home and lifestyle.  Kona has now learned to play with the other dogs and we want that behavior continue. We also believe he won't be as quick to protect his owner if he has to share his human with a doggie companion. The owner must have some dog behavioral knowledge and not foster inappropriate behavior in Kona.  We believe Kona will be a happier dog if he has a kind and knowledgeable owner who understands what his needs are.
